For this piece, the designer's focus was aimed at de-stigmatizing medication and mental health by integrating pill motifs into an everyday item. By ingraining a supportive message into a vibrant graphic, the designer wishes to normalize the concept of experimenting with medications (safely) throughout one's own mental health journey.
This purse was created with a similar concept to the Capsule Pop Shirt, but reimagined the design to suit the canvas while still representing the message.
This tote bag has a wonderful blend of pastel pinks and purples mixed with hints of yellow and blue, and the design stands out on the white background. The waterproof fabric is durable and high-grade, and the tote contains one large pocket with additional pockets lining the interior. A tote is a staple accessory that can work with multiple outfit combinations, and this one helps keep the mental health aesthetic in a kawaii format fitting for any menhera look!
If a darker aesthetic is more your style, this purse fits the bill! The red handles and trim help the darker grays and blacks stand out, and the vibrant red eyes push the semi-goth aesthetic to a new level. The tote packs the same capacity as the pastel one, but has an edgy punch that works well with other menhera attire. The black keeps it sleek while the red helps it pop for a cooler, spooky feel.
