This Notice Board Page was created on September 9th, 2021, and the contents of the page were completed by October 14th. Any of the issues presented below that occurred before this date is written in past-tense with the current date's perspective in mind. Any of the issues presented on the page dated after 10/14/2021 will be written in a present-tense with as they will be written during, or shortly after, the issue has occurred or been resolved.

If there are people who are negatively affected by any issues I have caused, and feel that I have not properly addressed them, please send me an email to Meridian@Yumelixir.com so I can see what solutions I can provide. Note that any issues submitted to me, or issues I find on social media, may be anonymously publicized for documentation on this page.

The main purpose of this page is to help past or future customers decide whether or not they'd want to purchase my products or support my brand, based on whether or not they feel I am capable of conducting my business and social media channels in a trustworthy manner. As a growing creator, saying that I am doing my best to address concerns or compensate for mistakes I have made is simply not enough. And to keep that accountability and trust with my customers, audience, and community, all documentation of how I am addressing issues is provided below.

ISSUES FROM 2022

As said in prior years, anytime I am financially strained, I will pause work on my shop and social media, so I can reslove my financial issues separately from my online community and customers.

Finances hit hard for me in the latter half of 2021, and so I stopped posting to social media for the most part, and I've mainly focused on work.

To continue with my creative outlets, in April 202 I started vending at local conventions again and have started rebranding away from Menhera & Medi Kawaii, to a more cyber aesthetic. I wanted to go this route, to still incorporate mental health themes in my work, but have a more gender neutral aesthetic based on the design direction I felt I wanted to go in.

All earnings I make from selling at conventions are re-invested into this re-brand, and new products. None of the income earned from Yumelixir is going to my personal financial obligations.

I do not believe I have done anything that negatively impacted the community or customers during this time. But if there were people who were negatively affected by issues I caused in 2022 so far, or would like to report a new issue, please send me an email to Meridian@Yumelixir.com so I can see what solutions I can provide for the issues I have caused.

ISSUES FROM 2021

After being inactive on my shop and online for a little over a year, I've been missing a lot of the creative outlets I used to partake in. I personally haven't been spending time on any creative outlets (even offline), since I had been mainly focusing on work to maintain financial stability. I wanted to make sure a repeat of 2019 didn't happen again.

As a creative outlet, I started doing some fan art, sprucing up some of my old cosplays, I started a new IG account, and posted a couple of videos to YouTube. Engagement was really small, but I was experimenting with what type of creative outlets I wanted to delve into again. I came upon starting a TikTok account and for several weeks, I was experimenting with this medium of video creation and was having a lot of fun!

During my time on the platform, I had the opportunity to share my previous work with others, and many of my followers asked if I had a shop or would open a shop. Due to the mistakes I had made in the past, I was quite antsy about re-opening my shop right away, and wanted to make sure that I address all my previous issues prior to re-opening. I talked about these issues a bit during this live stream, but have now documented everything in full on this notice board page.

Going forward, my financial situation maintains its stability via my other business (I worked on this after I started my hiatus from Yumelixir, and continue to work on it through this day. It is a business completely separate from Yumelixir / Meridiosyncrasy.), so that I can be sure not to repeat the same mistakes I made in 2019. If my financial situation is compromised in the future, I will take a break from activity with Yumelixir / Meridiosyncrasy to focus on my finances. I want the work that I do, and the art that I create through Yumelixir / Meridiosyncrasy to be a fun creative outlet for me that I can share with others and create a positive impact. I don't want my financial situation to cause me to make bad decisions through my platform, because I want to continue to grow the platform and not abuse the trust given to me by the community, my audience, or my customers.

When I make any mistakes that negatively impact the people I work with, the community I am a part of, my audience, or my customers, I will be sure to document these incidents on this page as well as the efforts I am doing to resolve them.

If there were people who were negatively affected by issues I have caused in 2021, and feel that I have not properly addressed them, please send me an email to Meridian@Yumelixir.com so I can see what solutions I can provide for the issues I have caused.

ISSUES FROM 2020

My shop was inactive for the entirety of 2020 (online and at conventions), but I was active on my shop's Instagram for a couple weeks during 2020.

During the few weeks that I was active on Instagram for 2020, there was one issue that occurred, and it is documented below.

If there were people who were negatively affected by issues I have caused in 2020, and feel that I have not properly addressed them, please send me an email to Meridian@Yumelixir.com so I can see what solutions I can provide for the issues I have caused.

ISSUES FROM 2019

Due to several mistakes I made in combination with my increasingly stressful financial situation in 2019, I closed my shop and became inactive on social media.

I do believe that a lot of the bad decisions I made was borne from the desperation coming from my financial situation. But I know that these decisions I made negatively impacted people around me, my audience, and my customers in different ways. In order not to blame the negative repercussions of my actions on my desperation, I want to make sure I properly document my mistakes here to show that I've addressed the issues I caused in 2019.

If there were people who were negatively affected by issues I have caused in 2019, and feel that I have not properly addressed them, please send me an email to Meridian@Yumelixir.com so I can see what solutions I can provide for the issues I have caused.

ISSUES FROM 2018

I launched my online shop and my Instagram in January of 2018. During this time, I was working alone to produce my content and products, and not collaborating with anyone in the community.

I don't believe I did anything that negatively impacted the community, my audience, or my customers during this time. But if there were people who were negatively affected by issues I caused in 2018, please send me an email to Meridian@Yumelixir.com so I can see what solutions I can provide for the issues I have caused.

ISSUES FROM 2017

Leading up to launching my shop, I was working freelance jobs as a graphic designer to invest in my future business. With the money I earned via this work, I purchased all the large equipment, inventory, and supplies I wanted to launch my shop.

I had no online social media accounts, website, or any internet presence for my shop at all. I just had my personal social media accounts on IG and FB that I was not very active in.

The only interaction I had with the community was a booth at Anime Expo 2017 in the exhibitor's hall. Since I was working freelance to fund my shop launch, I was not able to spend a lot of time preparing for boothing at the convention. I only had my original line of acrylic accessories made in time for the event, and displayed it on the table provided by the convention. No branding, no business cards, no active social media accounts, no websites. Just a piece of paper taped to my booth table that had my shop's IG username leading to an empty IG profile. I made 3 sales that entire weekend, since my booth wasn't catching anyone's attention.

Due to the minimal interaction, and lack of memorable presence, I do not believe I did anything that negatively impacted the community or customers during this time. But if there were people who were negatively affected by issues I caused in 2017, please send me an email to Meridian@Yumelixir.com so I can see what solutions I can provide for the issues I have caused.
