Yumelixir Return and Refund Policy

At Yumelixir, we curate a mix of standard manufactured goods and unique, handmade, or upcycled wearable art. Because of the labor and time invested in our handmade creations, our policies are designed to protect the artist while ensuring a professional experience for our customers.

1. The 14 Day Window

All requests for returns, exchanges, or repairs must be initiated within 14 days of the delivery date. After this 14 day period, all sales are final and no exceptions will be made.

2. Standard Manufactured Merchandise

Includes: Screen-printed apparel, blank accessories, and professionally manufactured items.

Condition: Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, and in original packaging with all tags attached.
Shipping: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Faulty Items: If we sent the wrong item or a new manufactured item is defective, Yumelixir will provide a prepaid shipping label at our cost.

3. Handmade and Upcycled Items

All handmade and upcycled pieces are considered Final Sale. These items represent significant artist labor and unique, often vintage, materials.

Improper Fit: We provide detailed measurements for every handmade piece. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to review the size guide and measurements before purchasing. If an item does not fit, we do not offer cash refunds. We may offer Store Credit (minus original shipping costs) if the item is returned in its original, unworn condition within the 14 day window.
Condition Disclaimer: Upcycled items often feature natural wear from their previous life. We provide detailed descriptions and photos of these imperfections in each listing. By purchasing, you acknowledge these conditions. No returns or refunds will be accepted for imperfections noted in the listing or typical wear and tear of vintage materials.

4. Damage and Repairs

We take pride in our construction, but we understand that handmade items can sometimes require maintenance.

Liable for (Structural Defects): Yumelixir is liable for structural failures such as failed seams, non-functional zippers (unless noted as decorative), or hardware that breaks during the first 14 days of normal wear.
Not Liable for: We are not responsible for small loose threads common in DIY work, slight fading, pilling of vintage fabrics, or damage caused by improper washing and snagging.

Resolution Options for Defects

The resolution depends on the value of the item:

Items Over $100: We offer a one-time professional repair at no cost to you. Yumelixir will cover the shipping costs to send the item back to us and the cost to ship the repaired item back to you. If the same structural issue persists after one repair, we will move to the refund or store credit phase.
Items $30 or Less: For these items, you do not need to ship the item back. You may choose one of the following:
- 50% Partial Refund: You keep the item and may have it fixed locally.
- Full Store Credit: You keep the item and receive the full value back as store credit for a future purchase.

5. How to Start a Request

Email Support@Yumelixir.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue. Do not ship items back without prior authorization.
